About Daniel Bigman, M.D.
Daniel Bigman, M.D., M.H.S., Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, Â鶹¸ßÇå; Attending Psychiatrist at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and Westchester Behavioral Health. Dr. Bigman is an attending psychiatrist on the inpatient child & adolescent units. Dr. Bigman supervises fellows during the inpatient rotation. Prior to medical training, he was a Physician Assistant for almost a decade. He attended graduate school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and medical school at AUIS School of Medicine. Dr. Bigman completed his internship and residency training in Psychiatry at Cooper University Hospital of Cooper Medical School at Rowan University. Further training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry was completed at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he completed his final year as Chief Fellow. He subsequently completed another fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He completed the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. Areas of interests include neurodevelopmental psychiatry, neuropsychiatric presentations, sleep disorders, and psychodynamic treatments.
